Cruise Ship in Oslo, Norway

Have you considered a European cruise in the past, but felt the itineraries were simply too long? Well, there’s good news for you in 2009! It’s time to reconsider that cruise! Many of the North American based cruise lines are working hard to build up their trips throughout European ports by offering shorter cruises, which are more appealing to US consumers. One major cruise line has announced that they will be offering more than 30 different cruises throughout Europe in 2009 compared to the 10 trips they offered in 2008. Several other cruise lines are in the process of dedicating more ships to the UK area as well.

The appeal for consumers is obvious: shorter trips are easier to schedule into the hectic lifestyle that is typical of most US vacationers. Shorter trips are generally less expensive as well. In tough economic times, this means that it’s still possible to visit exciting locations and still do it on a tight budget.

Please feel free to email Rhonda Sand for more information about cruises taking place throughout Europe during 2009.
